Part of the MelonLand community, the Half Moon Art Hub is a semi-recreation of the art site DeviantArt as it was in 2010. The art hub offers a space for community members to upload artworks in a mix of media types and styles.

I was interested in creating this largely as an exploration of the tropes and expectations that often come with more traditional internet art that tends to focus on digital drawing.

Creating a more traditional art space within a net art project was a chance to understand both fields a little better and understand how they fit together.
